Purpose / Description: This boat has been designed for the requirements of Port Authority (Harbor) or Coast Guard for the purpose of regular pilot facility, searching and controlling in territories of the area. This vessel can be customize for different operations including; Search & Rescue, Police, Coast Guard, Fishery Patrol And Custom Control purposes.
A modern twin screw pilot boat of modern standard design suitable for Port Pilotage operations in harbor and coastal waters. The Pilot boat is designed as a modern diesel engine powered, twin screw boat having excellent stability combined with good sea-keeping qualities for intensive service at continuous full service speed with no running hour limitation. The boat can be manned for 24 hours operation by helmsman and engine/crew man.
The vessel is designed to satisfactorily and safe perform in the weather conditions of wind speed 40 knots , waves height 3 meters, and will be fendered to go alongside a ship moving at a speed if over 10 knots.
Boat will be built with Class approved drawings to Class standards with supervision by BV BUREAU VERITAS classification surveyor and will be delivered classification according to this specification. Vessel construction will be built with class approved steel plates and scantlings.
Vessel Notation will be: I.Hull .Mach Special Service. Pilot Boat, Coastal Operations.
Hull will be steel and wheelhouse is to be welded aluminum construction. Wheelhouse doors will be built from aluminum. |
