Offered on brokerage is this 35’ steel & iron construction narrowboat, converted from a 1940’s BCN Joey. It must be noted that the beam is approx 7’2” wide meaning it is not able to use the entire waterways system as some locks are restricted to 7’.
It has had a unique interior fit out, giving it a different style, it has a boat safety in place until 2026 & was last out of water in 2019 when it was surveyed and blacked, including 3 coats on the baseplate. The baseplate was redone in 10mm steel presumably when the cabin & stern work was done in the 80's.
It is powered by a 1.5 BMC with a PRM gearbox.
The forward 31’ is original riveted iron, the cabin and motor stern are mild steel from around the 1980’s.
It could be a liveaboard if you can find a mooring, has a single bed to the rear and sofa bed at the front. Has a Vanette lpg hob, oven/grill and also has a solid fuel stove for cosy evenings.
Exterior paintwork is single colour giving any new owner a blank canvas to put their own colour on if required. Solar panel fitted
Everything is included in the sale other than 2 pictures and an ornamental table. Includes some diesel in the tank & some oil and filters for any small service work
