Description

A classic Swedish built cabin cruiser with aft and forward cabins, suited to inland waterways and with sea going capabilities. The original engine has undergone significant restoration over the last couple of years, so it should provide a new owner with hassle free cruising in the months and years to come. The overall condition is good for a 50+ year old boat, although the aft cabin needs the linings and panels reinstating as these were removed to allow for maintenance of the fibreglass. This boat is available for viewing 7 days a week by prior appointment please.

Engine(s)

Volvo Penta MD29A 6 cylinder 3.0L 92hp diesel engine coupled to a conventional shaft drive. Twin lever controls. RPM, temperature, voltage, fuel and ammeter gauges.
Details of recent work carried out-:
Head gasket, the head was skimmed, valve seats, valves. hydraulic buckets re-skimmed, valves seals, the oil cooler was refurbished, new thermostat. The entire raw water system was refurbished including intercooler and wet exhaust unblocked and restored and it now holds temperature perfectly (the temperature gauge is not accurate as it’s a different voltage one, so when it reads 50 degrees it’s actually around 70, ie. add 15 to 20 degrees). The fuel delivery pump is new and the fuel filter housing was restored. The entire engine was checked and new seals/gaskets fitted everywhere. New injectors and seals, glow plugs cleaned and tested, gearbox oil changed and the engine was serviced 6 months ago after being re-built. The engine only ever smokes slightly after being under heavy load when it runs over 2500 rpm in gear.
